All web tools used at Powderhorn Elementary School are in compliance with Student Data Privacy Laws. Read more about these laws from the Colorado Department of Education. In an effort to conform to state law mandates and communicate to our families how their child's information is being shared, Powderhorn staff will openly communicate which technology tools (software, apps, extensions, etc.) are being used as learning tools in our classrooms. All tech tools we plan to use with students for the school year are listed below with links to each website.

Google Apps--Google Apps Education Edition is a package of Google applications that live on the internet "cloud." The applications contained in Jeffco's Google Apps are Docs, Sites, Calendar, Google+ Photos, YouTube (for staff), Gmail and Contacts - all within a safe and secure domain for students and staff of Jeffco Schools.

Lexia Reading Core 5--Lexia Reading Core 5 supports educators by providing differentiated literacy instruction for students grades pre-K-5.

Raz Kids--Hundreds of interactive leveled ebooks for teachers to use along with quizzes and tests and reports.

Prodigy--Prodigy has over 1200 crucial math skills for grades 1 - 8 that allow for differentiation for all abilities. diagnostic test to place students in the correct grade, embedded assessments, and automatic differentiation.

Epic--Epic! is an all-you-can-read eBook library for kids 12 and under offering unlimited access to over 10,000 high-quality childrens books, now including thousands of read-to-me and Audio books.

Kahoot--Kahoot allows users to create game based formative assessments using multiple choice questions. Kahoot provides a fun interactive platform for students which includes avatars, leaderboards, themes, and more.

Front Row Ed--Front Row is an online adaptive learning program for ELA and Math.
